Knowledge exchange for researchers working in the field of Alzheimer's
For the second time, more than 50 scientists supported by the Synapsis Foundation met at the Synapsis Forum in Gerzensee on 25 and 26 November 2019 for networking and knowledge exchange.
Selected speakers presented their projects supported by the Synapsis Foundation and discussed current research questions in the field of Alzheimer's disease. During the poster session in the evening of the first day, young researchers presented their work to each other. Highlights of the event were the keynote speeches by Prof. Philip Scheltens, member of the Scientific Advisory Board since 2019, and Dr. Ansgar Felbecker, President of the Swiss Memory Clinics. Both speakers provided valuable insights into the clinical aspects of Alzheimer's research and created awareness for their work.
The event was well received by the growing community of researchers supported by the Synapsis Foundation. The scientists expressed their gratitude for the support of their research activities by the Synapsis Foundation and addressed their thanks to all donors.
